thickness (noun,no plural; opposite: thinness) –the physical dimension or magnitude of a structure or an entire object with emphasis on its lateral expansion, usually recorded as a categorical value (relative in comparison to other similar structures: thin vs. thick/fat), absolute measurements are essentially the same as recorded for the width or diameter of a structure.
