Paleotropic

paleotropic (1) (noun, pl. paleotropics; synonym: paleotropis, no plural) – the tropics of the Old World (Africa and Asia). (2) (adj.; alternative spelling: palaeotropical) – distributed throughout the palaeotropical zone.
