Autonym

autonym (pl. autonyms) – an automatic name, i. e., every time a new variety, form or subspecies is described a new combination of the typical variety, form or subspecies is automatically generated according to the code; recognizing a new variety, form or subspecies implies that this new taxon is different from the typical one, which also deserves a name.
