Width

width (noun, pl. widths) – the lateral expansion of a structure or object, recorded either as a categorical value (relative in comparison to another similar structure: narrow vs. broad), or as absolute measurement (e. g., a spore that measures 5 µm across its median axis). Related terms: diameter.
