Coccoid

coccoid (adjective) – literally: shaped like a small sphere. One of several main types of cell organization: single-celled, covered by a cell wall, not motile: without flagella, rhizopodia or pseudopodia; typically applied to single-celled photobiont cells (e. g. chlorococcoid, chroococcoid). Kind of:cell organization-type.
