Mediterranean

Mediterranean (adjective) – (1) regional: from the region around the Mediterranean Sea (of Europe); (2) floristic: distributed throughout the Mediterranean zone, (3) climatic: mild to warm, with winter rain and summer draught; compare with: madrean; meridional.
