Parasymbiosis

parasymbiosis (noun, pl. parasymbioses;ecology term) – a secondary symbioses, i. e., a condition in which an additional organism becomes involved with a pre-existing symbiosis (e. g., a lichenicolous fungus); parasymbionts are frequently not damaging their hosts and thus commensalistic.
