Apothecioid

apothecioid (adj.) – similar in shape or structure to an apothecium; a apothecioid pseudothecium is an ascocarp with ascolocular ontogeny but structurally similar to a true apothecium; not to be confused with apothecial; cf. disciform, cf. apothecium.
