Apothecioid

apothecioid (adjective) – similar in shape or structure to an apothecium; a apothecioid pseudothecium is an ascocarp with ascolocular ontogeny but structurally similar to a true apothecium; not to be confused with apothecial. Related terms: disciform, apothecium.
