Pseudotissue

pseudotissue (noun, pl. pseudotissues; see synonym: false tissue) – any tissue-like cell aggregate that structurally of functionally resemble a parenchyma (true tissue). All plectenchyma functions as a pseudotissue (false tissue). Kind of:tissue-type.
