Parenchyma

parenchyma (noun,no plural) – most general: any true tissue; more specifically: parenchymatous tissue that has not (yet) assumed a specialized function or structure; e. g., the primary tissue of vascular plants that is typically composed of thin-walled, undifferentiated cells. Kind of:tissue-type.
