Imperfect

imperfect (adjective) – not perfect, amiss; (1) reproduction: without sexual reproduction or sexual stages unknown. Related terms: mitosporic, anamorph, holomorph, fungi imperfecti; (2) anatomy of perithecia: with a strongly reduced involucrellum, i. e., an involucrellum that is restricted to a rim around the ostiole.
