Lecanoralean
lecanoralean (adjective, ascus term) – with a complex apical apparatus, therefore typically with hemi-fissitunucate, i. e., eversion-type or rostrate dehiscence (Lecanora-type asci and most other ascus types in the Lecanorales), more rarely with an extenditunicate dehiscence (e. g., Dactylospora- or Teloschistes-type) or with a bivalve or fissurate dehiscence. prototunicate asci are probably derived from the lecanoralean ascus by reduction on several occasions. Kind of:ascus dehiscence type.
