Ornithocoprophilous
ornithocoprophilous (adjective) – preferring habitats rich in bird droppings, like bird perches. The suffix "–philous" is problematic because it emphasizes a preference for an ecological condition even though it is often not clear whether an organism prefers the condition where it grows or just tolerates these conditions. The ending "–phytic" in the sense of living in ..., growing on ..., is therefore often more appropriate. Related terms: ornithocoprophytic, nitrophilous, nitrophytic.
