Polychotomous
From LIAS Glossary
polychotomous (adjective) – Most likely erroneous form of polytomous, see there. The word polychotomous is created analogously to dichotomy and trichotomy (a division into two or three categories, respectively). Dicho– and trichotomy are based onGreek dikha (in two) and trikha (triple). However, polycho– is not available as a word element, and "poly–" is the correct suffix. Compare also isotomic.
