pustular (adjective) – originating from or shaped like a pustule; usually referring to soredia, where the cortex forms a swelling and then cracks open to form a soralium with jagged and sometimes everted (lifted up or bent back) edges, often referring to soredia, where the cortex forms a swelling and then cracks open to form a soralium with jagged and sometimes everted (lifted up or bent back) edges.
