reacting P positive (P +) (adjective; synonym: reacting P positive) – with a colour reaction if a spot test of a p-phenylendiamine in 95% ethyl alcohol is applied (Attention: the spot test reagent is highly unstable and must be prepared freshly each time when used; a more stable reagent is Steiner's Solution, achieved by dissolving 1g of p-phenylendiamine with 10 g sodium sulphite with 5 ml dishwasher liquid in 100 ml distilled water).
