Reacting ZnIKI negative

reacting ZnIKI negative (ZnIKI –) (adjective) – not reacting with chlor-zinc iodine. Used in lichenology to distinguish dead algal cells in microscopic sections of the phenocortex of some species. Compare reacting ZnIKI positive.
