scheda (noun, pl. schedae; variant spelling: sl. schedula, pl. schedulae) – literally: a sheet of paper; referring to a specimen label, usually used in the plural in conjunction with an exsiccata, where sets of the labels are often printed and distributed separately from the collection of specimens.
