Siphonate

siphonate (adjective) – one of several filamentous types of cell organization: referring to a branched, multi-nucleate filament lacking septa, i. e., one large, multi-nucleate filamentous cell that is not separated into individual cells. Related terms: coenocytic, cell filament, siphon, hypha. Kind of:cell organization-type.
