Suboperculate

suboperculate (adjective,ascus term) – similar to operculate, but with a chimney-like projection below the operculum; referring to asci that open with a lid (= operculum) formed by a circular subapical rupture along a chimney-like projection of the d-layer (see ascus wall layers). Kind of:ascus dehiscence type.
