Ultrastructure

ultrastructure (noun, pl. ultrastructures) – the structural differentiation of a cell, i. e., the differentiation into cell organelles, cytoplasm and membranes as observed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Related terms: structure, fine structure, biological structure.
