Woronin body

Woronin body (noun, ascospore term,spore morphology term, pl. Woronin bodies) – an electron-dense globular, spherical or elongated structure in cells of ascomycetes often found near or closely associated with the septal pore; sometimes blocking the pore as a pore plug.This is:part of septum.
