pertusariate (adjective) – poriform, urceolate lecanorine, i. e., referring to an apothecium forming a fruit-wart, i. e., with thalline walls that progressively cover the disk and merge until only a small pore remains visible; typically formed in several species of Pertusaria (thus the name), but present also in other lichenized ascomycetes; pertusariate apothecia are either monocarpous, or they sometimes merge forming polycarpous fruit warts.
