phyllocladium (noun, pl. phyllocladia) – literally "leaf-branch", i. e., a corticated outgrowth from a pseudopodetium of Stereocaulon, granular to coralloid, digitate, or complanate and lobe-like. A phyllocladium looks similar to an isidium but it is a transition form between a branch and outgrowth functioning as a propagule. Kind of: isidiomorphs,upper surface structure.
