Dispersed

dispersed (adj.) – spread-out, scattered, widely distributed, not aggregated; either referring to (1) the thallus growth form, e. g., a crustose thallus consisting of scattered areoles, or to (2) the distribution of scattered individuals, e. g., a population that is widely dispersed; cf. diffuse; distributed.
