Mischoblastia type
Mischoblastia-type (noun; ascospore term) – one-septate, the cell walls strongly thickened at both apices and along the median septum, the two cell lumina soon extremely angular and becoming triangular or slightly more rounded only towards the late stages of spore ontogeny; named after the genus Mischoblastia A. Massal. (a genus commonly treated as synonym of Rinodina (Ach.) Gray); e. g., Rinodina oxydata, R. teichophila. Related terms: mischoblastiomorphic. Kind of:Physciaceae spore type.
