Annular

annular (adjective, ascus term) – (1) ring-shaped, ringed, or with a ring, having a ring, bearing a ring; (2) specifically referring to asci releasing their ascospores through a pore distinctly delimited by a ring-like structure called annulus (see annular asci). If referring more broadly to an morphological or anatomical structure that is segmented into rings, the term annulate is more appropriate. Kind of: ascus dehiscence type.
