Fascicle

fascicle (noun, pl. fascicles; variant spelling: sl. fasciculus, pl. fasciculae) – literally: a bundle;

• a group or aggregation of hyphae, a bundle of hyphae;
• a part of an exsiccata, i. e., a bundled set of exemplary herbarium specimens;
• any stack of herbarium sheets stored together in a cabinet.
