fascicle (noun, pl. fascicles; variant spelling: sl. fasciculus, pl. fasciculae) – literally: a bundle;
- a group or aggregation of hyphae, a bundle of hyphae;
- a part of an exsiccata, i. e., a bundled set of exemplary herbarium specimens;
- any stack of herbarium sheets stored together in a cabinet.
