Imperforate

imperforate (adjective) – closed, lacking holes, without holes; i. e., not perforated; generally applied to any even surface that is not interrupted or penetrated by distinct perforations, but sometimes cracking open with age or breaking as a result of open handling and storage; (1) sometimes applied to closed axils of thallus branches; or, (2) pertaining to apothecial disks that have an uninterrupted, even surface.
