Omphalodisk

omphalodisk (noun, pl. omphalodisks;ascocarp term; variant spelling: omphalodisc) – an apothecial disk with central columnella of sterile, closely aggregated, agglutinate hyphae; visible as umbo in the centre of the apothecial disk; typically found in species of Umbilicaria.
