Textura epidermoidea
From LIAS Glossary
textura epidermoidea (noun,no plural) – a pseudoparenchyma of sinuous, not isodiametric cells that are leptodermatous and very tightly packed. Textura epidermoidea is a rather unusual paraplectenchyma, because the cells are not isodiametric. Nevertheless, individual hyphae can barely be distinguished in this textura. It is not known from lichenized ascomycetes. Kind of:tissue-type.
