Xerophobous
From LIAS Glossary
xerophobous (adjective;deprecated term) – not tolerating extremely dry conditions; avoiding xeric habitats. The term is largely obsolete, because it is hardly necessary to emphasize that an organism is not specifically adapted to cope with extreme water shortages.
