Pseudoparenchyma

pseudoparenchyma (noun,no plural; synonym: paraplectenchyma) – cells that are secondarily aggregated very closely into a pseudotissue, with the individual cells secondarily fused into distinct cell layers that looks similar if not identical to true tissue (parenchyma), but are not the result of organized meristematic growth.
