cell organization (noun,no plural;ecology term) – the general, main types how cells in an organism are arranged, either as single, isolated cells, or as aggregates of single cells, or as a truly multicellular organism. The various types include: unicellular (amoeboid, flagellate, capsoid, coccoid, yeasts); slime mould (plasmodioid, acrasioid, labyrinthuloid); cell aggregate: coenobia (capsoid), cell conglomerate (coccoid), cell colony (flagellate); multicellular: filamentous (siphonate, siphonocladate, trichal, heterotrichal, hyphal), false tissue (plectenchyma), true tissue (parenchyma).
