Arid

arid (adj.) – dry, low in moisture; typically referring to the relative humidity of a habitat; often applied to habitats characterized by low rainfall, but more correctly applied to all sources of water, like dewfall, air humidity, etc; cf. xeric; mesic, humid, wet.
