Gyrodisk

gyrodisk (noun, pl. gyrodisks;ascocarp term; variant spelling: gyrodisc) – an apothecial disk that is gyrose, i. e., folded up with bulging ridges on the surface, as though recently ploughed. Related terms: gyrus, leiodisk, omphalodisk.
