Labium

labium (noun, pl. labiae; ascocarp term) – a lip; (1) as applied to the front soralia: thallus lobes that break apart and curl upwards like a lip, thus releasing soredia on their lower side; (2) the lateral exciple of lirellate ascocarps; see proper exciple, parathecium.
