Reproduction

reproduction (noun,no plural) – any sexual or asexual process by which organisms produce offspring, both are pre-requisite for successful dispersal, either a genetically distinct new generation (generative) or not. General related terms: sexual reproduction, sexuality, procreation, dispersal, lateral gene transfer, parasexual cycle. Related terms in the context of fungi: anamorph, asexual reproduction, holomorph, teleomorph.
