Pyrenocarp
From LIAS Glossary
pyrenocarp (noun, pl. pyrenocarps;ascocarp term) – an globose to flask-shaped ascocarp opening with a pore, a generic term that disregards the ontogeny of the ascocarp and therefore includes true perithecia (i. e., poriform ascocarps with ascohymenial ontogeny) as well as perithecioid pseudothecia (i. e., poriform ascocarps with ascolocular ontogeny).
